STOP App: we can save the ocean together

The main purpose of the “Save The Ocean” application is to show people how much harm they cause for the ocean and marine life (i.e. by showing the user how much kilos of plastic approximately (s)he has wasted during the day or a week (depending on the user’s choices)).
The app will be designed to be user-friendly & not demanding in terms of resources. The idea is to ensure it’s accessible; hassle-free for anyone willing to use it. The target group will be made aware of the consequences (e.g. for the marine life) of their actions. They will also be given tips on how to improve

#STOP application - raise awareness of how much harm our habits towards plastics can cause to the oceans. The app will be available for use after the project as well. It will continue to raise awareness amongst the youth by showing them how much plastic we actually use in our everyday lives. It could be used as an educational tool within the practice of youth workers.
